Stoke already setting the scene to blame our fans
|
They fear for their fans safety!!!!
Wouldn't be the case that their fans could start trouble eh?
If they are so afraid - don't fucking come
By the way, weren't the Chelsea fans the ones who stormed across the bridge towards our fans - we are allowed to defend ourselves I assume

Regarding the taking kids to away games, don't see why not, took mine to Chelsea away League Cup game in 2004. White Horse at 5pm wearing WHU shirts them not me !! Coke and chips sitting with a Chelsea mates kids in Chelsea shirts too !
Only problem was them getting knocked off the their seats as they were standing on them when Jimmy walker saved fat boys pen.
I recommend the club's put any kids in the upper tier if possible and nowhere near the home fans.

The thing that's annoying me is how we are being demonised in the media as the root of football violence in the uk. Fuck me Liverpool were scrapping on the ground invite Europa cup final this year, city have just smashed up uniteds toilets this week and we had fans stabbed at Spurs last season away.
Violence at the football didn't stop due to better grounds or policing in the 90's and early 00's. It slowed down as most young blokes were taking ecstasy and going festivals. Now most lads are in the gym taking steroids and sniffing coke all weekend and are bang up for mither. You don't need to go to the footy to see this just down your local nightclub. The daft cunts who are poi tinting the finger at our fan base need to look at the bigger picture of what's going on culturally in our country

Too many of our are just fucking idiots. I take my 11 year old son home and away, he loves West Ham and at Palace away he asked to go home after we went 1 nil up because he was scared. We were right by the Palace fans and there were little girls and young wome being verbally abused by pissed up pricks who were just acting like cunts and giving it the old "I'll have you" safely knowing they're never gonna have to chuck a right hander. Pathetic really and most disappointing.

I remember when no fans would start any trouble if there were kids anywhere near.
If this kid got hit by even one coin, the cunt who threw it should have got a proper shoeing from those around him.
Whatever the provocation, WE used to be better than that.

I think the bottom line though is that it's not wrong to expect grown men to act like grown men and not like spoilt brats going through the "terrible twos" (when out and about in the society within which they live).
If they need to vent some of that "manly" aggression, go and play fucking paintball.

Sick of these poncy 'journo's' and the over the top anti West Ham / London Stadium frenzy over a few lads having a punch up it's not EFFIN Henman Hill it's under the lights vs Chelsea in East London. Everyone knew before that there was the likelihood for trouble it's just the way it is. As many have noted this now paves the way for other fan's to come with an agenda that we'll be condemned for as opposed to them.

The mass media have never forgiving us for springing the two Argentines on them without first asking their permission. How very dare we!
The Olympic stadium is another side of the same page for them. I'm sure many of these so-called reporters are convinced that they are "doing their bit" for the team they follow by having pops at us. They would, I'm sure, really have had the stadium left as a white elephant than us having it at any price.
Would rather the government not try and salvage ANY return from the Olympic investment, even though it was clear from day 1 that the organisers definitely did not want the arena used for professional football (with it's dirty money and even dirtier uneducated fans).

Just leave a few bags of carrots and turnips at Euston station and south mimms services. The stupid braying wild animals won't be able to resist and will miss the game.

One McAvennieeeeee 1:11 Fri Oct 28 Re: Stoke already setting the scene to blame our fans The same Stoke who's fans came tearing onto Green Street and started whacking scarfers and kids the other year?
Fuck em. Cunt club.
- whilst the game had already started might I add One Mac, that was all their first games back after the end of banning orders. Last game of last season they didn't really fancy it against a mob of about four of us, proper lads. They melted.

Cross one bridge at a time. Once bedded in they can start allowing the freebies etc. to sit above them.
The only answer is to try and steward/police it as a football ground despite it being unique in its design.

The thing that annoyed me was the HAMMER SHAME headline and then a picture of a Chelsea fan standing on the division taunting the West Ham fans.
It's easy to blame West Ham and forget that Chelsea were even there!

There have been a lot of people hoping something like this would happen. Dare I say it, even some of our own fans who were dead against the move from the off
But sure if the offenders are proved to be Chelsea fans then the responsibility lies on their clubs. We are responsible for protecting the fans and handling the crowds logistically but from what I saw we managed that to a degree. A lot better than we have previous games and no different to what we see at other derby games.
There's a real air of animosity and it seems like the press have got hard on for us.

Easiest way to segregate in the stadium, although it will not be popular, would be to give over the whole TBL and leave the blocks above empty. Surely even the stewards could manage it from there.

The throwing of coins is a particularly nasty trait synonymous with Chelsea I can remember being hit in the eye in the sixties at Stamford Bridge with a sharpened old penny. So if there was coins thrown I have a good idea who started it.

It was the same with the Tevez thing.
That went on for months, this ain't going away quickly!
In fact I would bet that every set of fans that come there now will try to expoit the situation until our 50,000 fans have all been hung and the Stadium is towed out into the English Channel and sunk.

I'm prertty sure they will have a fair few loons turn up for their first game at our new gaff.
Really need our lot to resist rising to the bait in the ground though. For the club's sake, and for their own sake. With CCTV, it's been a mug's game for decades, kicking off in the ground.
If you feel you must retaliate, do it right and make a careful note of the faces who are giving it, and look for them after. No excuse to lose your shit in the ground just because of a bit of banter and a few lobbed coins.

Fucking fed up with the tabloids printing anti West Ham stories, literally every bloody day at the moment. Some papers are now solely blaming our fans for the trouble on Wednesday night. Reading the stories you'd think Cheslea weren't even there. daily Mail printing a story about a child getting hit by a coin several times, totally one sided and everyone's jumping on the West Ham bashing "they're all cunts" bandwagon. In my opinion Chelsea caused trouble only after they knew it was a definite defeat for them on Wednesday night knowing full well it would make us look shit and overshadow their loss!
Seriously what the fuck are our PR team doing? posting pathetic twitter feeds! How about they start circulating some good West Ham press among these tabloids.
Hopefully what we do on the pitch will shut them all up!
